General Information: Name – Oniko Gender – Female Race – Half Demon Age –25 Height – 5’7’’ Weight – 130 Appearance and Notable Features – A pair of pitch black wings, smooth and thin. They do not bleed, but rather are a type of tangible shadow magic. Two pairs of tattoos. One on her lower abdomen that is a mark of the demon council when they split her soul in two. The second is on her lower back from her old master.

Family Information: Place of Origin – Small village no longer inhabited. Currently Resides – Travels Family – All known family is dead. Oniko grew up in a fairly small village with her mother. Her father was almost never around but seemed tolerant his human mistress and daughter. He left for a large scale war and never returned. Father – Lord Akiugi (Dead) Mother – Lord Akiugi’s last mistress (Dead) Half Brother – Ash Akiugi (Suspected Dead) Any other siblings were killed in the war. Because half demons were considered so taboo she didn’t meet other demons besides her father when she was growing up with her mother. If she had any half brothers or sisters they would be dead from the war and she did not know they existed. Occupations (Current and Former) – Currently a wanderer. In the past she was a slave and before then she would sometimes be forced to work for the demon council.

Skills and Abilities – Flight, weapon skills: scythe, sword, dagger, speed, agility, demonic strength. Magic Type/s, Level, and Magic Weakness – (Legend) Shadow and flame magic. Her flames are purple. Shadows: Wings: All people of her race have wings similar to hers. She does not need them to fly but they do help to push her through the air faster and move easier. Her wings can also work as a slight shield. If they are harmed because they are connect to her mentally she will suffer headaches. If harm becomes greater to them the pain on her mind will be that much greater and might start to affect her in other ways. Portals – Holding items in portals. Traveling through portals. Flames: Fire ball- Explosion – Blast firing outward. Controlling flames. Light and holy magic is a weakness for her.

Weaknesses/Flaws – Holy magic. If someone tries to heal her with holy magic after a time it’ll be very painful. Dark magic can also be painful if used a lot. If you know her buttons it’s easy to get her angry. She can be easily provoked into a fight. Not very trusting. Personality – Untrusting, a bit blunt, worries mostly for herself, strongly protective of those that eventually become her friends. Oddly a big softy at times but doesn’t like to admit it. Hobbies/Interests – Enjoys chocolate covered strawberries. Dreams/Aspirations – unknown

Backstory –

Oniko grew up in a fairly small village with her mother. Her father was almost never around but seemed tolerant his daughter. Half-demon’s were very taboo, so he never taught her how to use her powers and never brought her into any demon territory. He left for a large scale war and never returned, everyone else in her race was presumed destroyed. Till she was about 10 years old Oniko lived a carefree life, until her powers started to surface and she didn’t know what to do with them. As a result she would accidently cause destruction around herself. In the mist of the chaos Oniko fell unconscious and several cloaked men took her away into the underworld. They called themselves the Demon Council and did not treat her too kindly. However they thought Oniko to be the last carrier of her bloodline and thus they needed her despite her impure blood. They tried to force her into helping them and once she was of age help in bringing her race back. Her kin were known to be excellent fighters on the battlefield. Oniko wanted nothing to do with the Demon Council. After awhile she started disobeying them and refusing to complete orders. They decided to exercise their authority on her so as punishment till she decided to listen they sealed away part of her soul and powers, literally splitting the soul in half.

She lived a few more years in isolation and abuse. They left their mark, the curse of the Demon Council on her lower stomach to keep the demon half of her sealed until they would come for her later. Controlling her powers were becoming easier, but only because most of that energy was sealed away by the council. With energy steadily building up in her body she had to periodically release bursts of energy from time to time. Oniko didn’t know it at the time but a change was happening in her body.

It looked like she would spend the rest of her life in a cell unless she agreed to cooperate with the demon council until fate stepped in. On a random day while she was being held off from one of the main demon bases a group of demon hunters rolled through. One of the members found Oniko, who was now around the age of 12 chained down. It was obvious this child was a demon, her wings had sense sprouted and she could not mask her aura from the demon hunter. That was when something surprising happened. The demon hunter, named Rathien, took pity on her and released her. Some say she was shown mercy only because of her age and the woman’s motherly nature when she found Oniko. Whatever the reason she was freed from the Demon Council for the time being.

Misc Information of Importance -

Because Oniko’s soul was split for so long, it grew to have its own consciousness yet could never be completely severed from Oniko. The voice of her demon side often torments her mind. If Oniko were to lose control of her demonic powers she transforms into a 12-year-old child, sense that soul only matured mentally but not physically. Though Oniko is more in control of the body, her demonic side rules over her power and isn’t afraid to use it. The demonic Oniko is much more blunt and rude with little sense of compassion for the world.
